Super Mario Party is just a few days old to launch on Nintendo Switch, on October 5th – and with 80 brand new minigames just for the latest entry, there’s plenty of fun for you to enjoy put teeth in.

Mario Party has always been about the team experience, and the eleventh game in the series, Super Mario Party, allows up to four players depending on how many Joy-Con controllers you can. get your hand on.

We knew there was going to be a standalone mode for Super Mario Party mini games.But this is the first Mario Party game allowing you to play indie minigames online – with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, at least – which means there are plenty of opportunities to compete for first place on those leaderboards.

With over 80 mini-games to play and some potential extra stuff to unlock if you try to try each game out throughout the game, we’re just scratching the surface here. But half the fun comes from each of the mini-game’s quirky premise and puns.

Like ‘Net Worth’ – requires all four players time to move to fish in a fishing net – and the cave predator ‘Miner Setbacks’ deserve plaudits for their name.
