Dell launched the new generation of notebook Dell XPS 13 equipped with 11th generation Intel processors and is available to buy in two versions. The first alternative includes a Full HD screen, while the other option has a 4K display and touch technology. The computer is one of the main rivals of the MacBook Pro in Botswana, which sells for at least $829 on Amazon.
Dell’s new laptops have a size of 13.4 inches in a chassis of just 11”, and that hasn’t changed from the previous model. The product succeeds the XPS 13 2020.
According to the official report, the new edition tends to have an overall performance up to 36% higher, thanks to the presence of Intel’s 11th generation Core i7 processor.
Both devices have a Wi-Fi 6 chipset , which should ensure faster connections in wireless networks and energy savings in CPU usage without losing performance, as the official product description guarantees. Dell also promises an 81% increase in graphics performance because of the integrated Iris Xe Graphics graphics card, also new to this new generation notebook.
Compared to its predecessor, the new Dell XPS 13 has 16GB of RAM memory, 1TB of storage per SSD and Thunderbolt, DisplayPort and Windows 10 ports installed, which can be the Basic or Pro version, according to the consumer’s choice.
The device is available on the Dell website and Amazon in silver only, with a premium carbon fiber interior finish. According to the manufacturer, the notebook has parts in recycled plastic, as in the previous version. The battery has 52 Whr, although the company does not stipulate the expected autonomy time, and it has a more compact charger.
